Bible Journaling Thoughts

Tonight I wanted to do something different while bible journaling.  Normally I do my daily reading from the Chronological reading plan and find a scripture in that reading to journal on or I journal on the scripture verses from Sunday School or Preaching services.  I truly enjoy my time studying and reading the Word of God.  So tonight I picked a random scripture and have been meditating on it.  It's a popular scripture passage and one that many have memorized.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord...lean not...acknowledge Him...straight your paths.  This verse was in the first set of scripture verses I memorized.  I would quote this scripture to myself repeatively. Lately,I have begun to look at trust from a different perspective.  Yes we are to trust God bit God has shown me I need also to trust the man of God he has placed in my life to help guide me to heaven.  Sometimes it becomes difficult to trust people; however, it is just as important to trust those God has placed in various offices.  If God has ordained it then I need to trust , respect, and give honor where honor is due.  This verse for me is packed with a reminder to trust God in all things not just what I want but in ALL things TRUST God and lean not on my understanding because God's ways are not my ways and his thoughts are high above.

My prayer is: Lord help me to continue to trust in you with all of my heart.  I pray that I seek the understanding of the Lord in all things both great and small.  May I continue to give you Lord praise on a daily bases.  Lord I pray that you will order my steps in your word and lead, guide, and direct my paths that you've placed me on.  Remind me that I am not alone, bit longer you are with me always even unto the end of time.  Lord I pray that my life will be a testimony of the power of trusting in you and not leaning on my own understanding.  In Jesus name I pray believing and trusting in you Lord Jesus!
