David's Ten Concubines

Scriptural References: 2 Samuel 16:21 - 23; 20:3

The scripture doesn't share much about these women but what it does show us is there is nothing new under the sun. In the scripture we read that these women were abused sexually by David's son Absalom. In addition to the sexual abuse these women were shut up and only fed to there death.

For centuries we have seen, heard, or may even have experienced abuse in some form. The difference that we have is that we can leave the abusive relationship and seek God for help and direction. We have our church pastor to talk to and numerous other.resources. Some of the resources that we can utilize are crisis hotlines, sheltere, and counseling services.

If you are experiencing abuse or no someone that is ot that God does not condone such behaviour. We can turn to God with all of our hearts minds, bodies, and souls because God is love and he loves you!
