THERE IS POWER IN PRAISE

Praising God during our problems has three miraculous effects:
  1. It brings us into God's throne room for a personal consultation;
  2. It helps us in surprising ways;
  3. It breaks the devil's grip on the situation.
Be encouraged; we may not understand why now, but someday we will.  Until then, claim the Word of God because, God always keeps His Promises.
1 Corinthians 10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
Phillipians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"
Psalm 20:1 "May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you!"

Continue to praise and lift up the name of the Lord.  When the praises go up God's glory comes down.  The glory of God brings healing, deliverance, peace, joy, strength, hope, and much more.  The victory has already been won we just need to stay faithful to God and he will be faithful to us.
Psalm 34:1-4 "I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord : the humble shall hear thereof , and be glad. 3  O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. …"

As a child of God we have effective tools to assist us in our battles.  We must remember that the battle is not ours but it is the Lord's.  The Lord has given us tools to help us be victorious.

7 Effective Tools for Christians:
  • Blood of the Lamb - Revelation 12:11
  • Sword of the Spirit - Ephesians 6:17
  • Resist the devil - James 4:7
  • Draw nigh to God - James 4:8
  • Cleanse your hands - James 4:8
  • Purify your hearts - James 4:8
  • Prayer & Fasting- Matthew 17:21; Mark 9:29
So when the storm rages and troubles come praise the Lord and utilize the tools we have been given to gain victory.
1 Peter 5:6 - 10 "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you."

Not only does prayer change things but so does praise.  Praise Him who is worthy of all our praise!
